To prove that your beliefs are true, you should put forth great effort into dis-proving them.
If, when all attempts to prove them false have failed, then you can be confidant that your beliefs are a reflection of true truth, not irrational, unsubstantiated beliefs.
If they cannot be proved to be false, then the word belief is no longer applicable as it has now become fact.

One can use the principles of ‘Occum’s Razor’ in this.
(Explanation found on Wikipedia – “simpler explanations are, other things being equal, generally better than more complex ones.” )

The true measure of truth can be found in its inability to fail when tested.
Therefore to prove one’s beliefs valid, one should try hard to disprove them.
